Maternity Newborn Combo photoshoot | Nokubonga and Xolani
Maternity Newborn Combo photoshoot with Noku and Xolani

Nokubonga and Xolani opted for a Maternity and Newborn combo photoshoot. This meant they could have a one-hour maternity session, and then a two-hour newborn session after their baby girl was born. By taking the combo option they receive a discounted rate overall. They chose to do both shoots in studio. Their first baby girl joined them for the maternity photoshoot. Nokubonga had her make up done by Wendy Buthelezi. She wanted a more boudoir maternity style shoot and definitely has the figure to do so.
Planning Your Newborn Photo Session
The newborn photoshoot was done a little later than it should have been as the baby was in hospital for a while. But as soon as possible we scheduled their newborn shoot. It’s important to have the newborn photos done soon as babies are less likely to be too aware of what is happening in the first ten days. After this, it becomes more difficult to get those pretty newborn poses in wraps etc that everyone loves so much. In this case, we were lucky. Although the baby was awake for most of the photos she didn’t cry or complain at all and was quite happy to just stare at us.
