Caleb was unfortunately not too impressed with getting his hands dirty for this cake smash photoshoot. But I did still manage to get a few good shots. The cookie monster is his favourite cartoon character. One of the most important things to remember with a cake smash is not to force them to destroy the cake.

It has to be done at their own pace. This is why I recommend at least an hour for the photoshoot. Because it is likely to end in tears if their hands are pushed into the cake. This type of shoot can be done either indoor or outdoor. Have wet wipes ready it’s going to get messy 🙂
